The concept for Sauna Cave was discovered along the rugged canyons of the Colorado River. While exploring Nevada's Lake Mead National Recreation Area back in 2018, our founder, Nizar, visited the legendary Sauna Cave Hot Spring at just 23 years old. He encountered a unique geological research tunnel that had accidentally intersected a natural geothermal vein.
Stepping inside that raw rock tunnel, surrounded by pure, earth-fueled steam, sparked a clear vision. Nizar realized that this level of absolute isolation and deep, primal recovery shouldn't require an adventurous trek into a canyon. He founded SaunaCave.com to bring that exact feeling of a natural subterranean sanctuary directly into luxury modern homes.
